What the petition asks
The UK voted in an advisorary referendum, and has advised that the UK should leave the EU, by a small majority. The fallout has already been huge. We need an elected Parliament and PM to decide how the result should be acted upon, and to properly represent us in any potential Brexit negotiations.
We need the chance to choose our representatives in any potential negotiations, especially since many of the claims made by both camps have now been discredited. Negotiations should not be led by an unelected Cabinet and unelected Prime Minister. If the referendum result is truly the will of the nation then it will be reflected again in the election result, either way we will have a government truly reflective of the will of the nation to take us forward on the international stage.
