What the petition asks
Every year, the NHS spends around £4 to £5 million on Homeopathy, a remedial pratice which has been repeatedly examined and found to have no long term health benefit other than placebo. This money could find better use as a national mental health awareness campaign to help curtail MH stigmatisation.
A 2010 review into homeopathy found that it was a 'placebo treatment'.

This is an example of a mental health campaign which could be better funded with the extra money available from ceasing to fund homeopathy.
