Over 3 million EU migrant workers’ rights are under threat.

What the petition asks

I am a French citizen; I have been living in the UK for 10 years, a country where my children are born and raised. I work and pay my taxes in this country; I am a trade union regional organiser, and every day I protect your rights at work, this I do regardless of your nationality.
The leave campaigners claim that we will automatically be granted indefinite leave to remain and will be treated no less favourably . Professor Sionaidh Douglas-Scott, an expert in European law says there is no cast-iron guarantee on acquired rights in the event Britain leaves the EU. Losing my rights is to lose everything.
We the undersigned call upon HM Government to give assurances that the rights of existing migrants resident will not be under threat as a consequence of the " leave" vote.
