Prosecute those involved in the fraud during the run-up to the EU referendum

What the petition asks
In the same way Cameron cried 'Fraud' over the petition for a hacked 2nd referendum, anyone materially involved in the run-up to the EU referendum who knowingly participated in the lies & deceit should be prosecuted in the same way any other citizen would have been for fraud.
Failure to prosecute means there is one rule for the politicians and another for the rest of the population, making a mockery of morals & justice. They knowingly & materially lied to us with callous contempt purely to achieve their own goals.
We should be able to look up to our politicians as exemplary role models, not down to them as liars, buffoons & cheats.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for prosecuting people suspected of crimes. If you believe that a crime has been committed, that would be a matter for the police.
