Charge 'Leave' leaders with undermining democracy through deliberate dishonesty
Rejected

What the petition asks
The British people have just voted to leave the European Union after being told what have been shown to be outright lies. This has and will continue to massively affect the lives of everyone concerned. Unless action is taken against those responsible, democratic processes will suffer or fail.
Democracy doesn't work unless it is underpinned by honesty and facts. The most severe punishments must be given to those who undermine democracy in this way, in order to reflect the magnitude of their crime and to deter others insistent on manipulating the electorate for their own political ends. Leave's key campaign pledges have been show to be based on lies, lies which have cost millions of people their right to a politically stable and financially secure future.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for decisions to charge people with crimes.
