Call for an early general election
Rejected

What the petition asks
The referendum has left the United Kingdom, and the Government in chaos. With the resignation of David Cameron we need a prime minister and a united government with a mandate from the people to lead us forward from this unprecedented moment in history.
Faith in the Conservative Party is at an all time low and as the extent of the lies told by Johnson, Gove, the press and the leave campaign in general becomes clearer it is unlikely that any of the top candidates to take over the Conservative leadership will have the support of the people. We feel that a general election must be called so that the nation can choose the leaders they want to take us forward from here.
