What the petition asks
In the wake of the EU referendum result it is important to hold a General Election to ensure that the majority are represented in the EU negotiations by the party and Prime Minister of their choosing, this will ensure all needs of an EU exit have been met and that the result is acceptable.
The EU referendum was the most historic of any vote we have had previously and will change the course of Britain for years to come, it is important that any government receives a mandate through a General Election to ensure that consent is given to the negotiation any of the parties would like to see.
