Cancel the summer recess/conferences and make MPs work together on a BREXIT plan

What the petition asks

Parliament goes into recess on 21/7/16 until 5/09/16, then the party conferences happen 15/09/16 to 10/10/16. We need all MPs to work together on resolving the BREXIT situation not to leave the country in free fall for 4 months. Put aside party politics and sort the country out.

We have had a momentous referendum in this country, the PM has resigned and the parties are all fighting amongst themselves. There is no plan, the new PM will not be appointed for weeks, Labour are too bus falling out with their leader. We need unity from all parties to get the Europe matter settled. No matter which side of the debate you are on they work for us and need to take action immediately in full view of the public.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

British Parliment should not have a summer recess this year.

The cancellation of party conferences would be the responsibility of political parties, not the Government or Parliament.
