What the petition asks

The EU referendum outcome has created uncertainty for people who currently contribute enormously to the UK economy and public services. It will be damaging, at a critical time, if skilled, economically active, people leave the UK.
EU citizens living in the UK are an economically active group. They provide a critical balance to the expanding retired and economically less active population.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Allow EU citizens to remain in the UK after exit from the EU with same rights
