What the petition asks
If the Conservative party elect a new member as a prime minister he will only have approximately 2 years left in office. Where as a general election will give the government a full term to handle the situation that Britain is currently in after article 50 is triggered.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
