Hold a referendum on using Single Transferable Vote in Parliamentary Elections

Closed 40 signatures

What the petition asks

After the last General Election we awoke to a Parliament which nearly 2/3 of the country had voted against. Now, in an age of smaller and more specialised political parties, voters are punished for backing their actual favourite candidates and parties.
We want representation, we need reformation.
Single Transferable Vote (STV) is a type of Proportional Representation which still allows for local candidates and representatives through use of ranges.
