What the petition asks
We the undersigned request that a vote is held in the House of Commons to decide whether or not to trigger article 50 of the Lisbon treaty within 28 days of that vote or to reject implementation absolutely.
It is our view that this matter must be decided immediately in order to restore confidence in and to avoid serious and immediate injury to our economy, to protect short and medium term growth and to protect investment in UK services and industry.
