Euro Referendum was misleading - we call on the PM declare a General Election.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

Because of the deceit used to blind the UK populace to the dangers of exiting the EU we call on Parliament to be dissolved and that a General Election be called before any final decision to leave the EU is ratified by Parliament.
Leading protagonist for exiting the EU made promises that he could not fulfill as confirmed by post referendum information.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

An early General Election can only be triggered by the House of Commons, where criteria set out in the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 are met.
