Petition · past parliament

Debate the so-called ‘facts’ of the Referendum campaign and note the lies.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We need a record, in Parliament and the press, of all campaign and media distortion, retractions and lies to guide people who voted on dishonest information and those who need to sort out the current economic and political chaos. We need to see what is left of democracy, once the lies are logged.
People are only now learning the facts of what leaving the EU will mean... the financial chaos and loss of regional funding. They are learning that there will be no new money for the NHS or protection for our borders. They are seeing our last industries pack up to leave. Many people that get the most out of EU membership through its support in Wales, Cornwall and the North have been deceived about the impact of taking Britain out of the European Union. We need a list of facts to trust.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We think you might want the same action as this petition:

Public inquiry into misleading claims and pledges made during the EU referendum.
