What the petition asks
I believe that climbing frames are a risk to the health and safety of children when used in a school playground environment. They are at risk of serious injury should they fall or are pushed by another child.
My daughter had an accident at her local Nursery when playing on the climbing frame, she fell from the top bar and then hit another bar seriously injuring her before she hit the ground.
I feel that children in a school environment are at a higher risk of injury from playing on a climbing frame than if they were playing on one in a park with their parents there to supervise.
