Stop the PIP Dept of the DWP challenging the decisions of a Tribunal.

What the petition asks

Before DLA was reclassified as PIP, I had had a Motability car for 7yrs, & received High Rate Care & Mobility. Then I had to reapply for my DLA, now PIP. I lost everything, despite my Disabilities worsening & needing a wheelchair permanently.
After the PIP Medical, I was awarded Standard Rate Care. Despite a Mandatory Reconsideration, & a Tribunal which awarded me Standard Rate Mobility, the PIP Dept has the right to CHALLENGE the decision made by the Tribunal.

I know I'm not alone in this situation, & that it's a stressful enough time, without wondering if your award is still going to be there when the PIP Dept have done with it!!

Please sign, share & let's get our voices heard & acknowledged by those in Parliament.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We don't understand what you mean when you refer to DWP's right to challenge a Tribunal decision. A Tribunal decision is like any court decision in the UK, and has a clear appeals procedure. A First Tier Tribunal decision can only be overturned by the Upper Tribunal through an appeal.
