Make it illegal for supermarkets to throw away edible food.

What the petition asks

From personal experience supermarkets throw away huge amounts of food daily and with some people barely able to feed themselves and their families in this country, this action could elieveate this problem. France has already taken this step, why shouldn't we do the same?

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Ban supermarkets from throwing away/ spoiling unsold food.
Lets feed the needy!
