Petition · past parliament

Offer citizenship to EU citizens currently employed in the uk.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

With the uncertainty of brexit negotiations, people not native to the uk currently working and living here are at risk of being used as a bargaining position.
Using individuals to gain leverage is beyond unethical. How can these people, some working in the heart of core uk services such as the NHS, be left with such uncertainty. They have bought homes and contributed to our cultural diversity. They should not be left out in the cold just to better our bargaining position. The U.K. Cannot afford to loose any key workers, and any brexit plan can be completed while we still allow our friends and colleagues to remain.
