Prevent the new Prime Minister from invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
The new Prime Minister will not have been elected by the people of the United Kingdom. They will be elected by MPs, to replace our current PM, who instigated the EU Referendum, and then immediately resigned after a Leave vote.
In fairness, Article 50 should only be invoked after a General Election.
