What the petition asks
In light of the recent EU referendum decision and increase in reports of hate crimes, a lot of innocent, decent and hardworking people like myself have been victims of accusations suggesting (with no proof or evidence to support their claims) that people who voted to leave the EU are somehow racist.
Branding someone as racist without any categorical evidence what so ever also seems to be a tactic that is becoming more of a problem in political and also everyday situations.
Certain demographics of people are using this tactic to persecute other demographics of people in order to silence their personal views or beliefs to further their own personal or political agendas.
Been racist is a disgusting crime and been wrongly accused with no evidence can be permanently damaging to peoples lives.
