Petition · past parliament
I ask for a vote of no confidence in the current Conservative government.

What the petition asks
Following the resignation of David Cameron after the referendum, all potential candidates for the Leader of the Conservative party have either dropped out or lacked enough votes to continue, essentially forcing Theresa May into the role. Nobody has voted for this at any stage.
We lack confidence in Theresa May in leading the country out of the EU. Under the special circumstances, we demand a general election.
