What the petition asks
This is not the woman that we need in government, it is a coup against our freedoms once more. She is unelected and unwanted.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Under the UK's constitution, the Monarch invites the person who appears most likely to command the confidence of the House of Commons to serve as Prime Minister and form (or continue) a government.
This is usually the leader of the party which has a majority of seats in the House.
The leadership of a political party is a matter for the party concerned, not the Government or Parliament.
