To consider the EU Referendum as a consultation with the people
Rejected

What the petition asks
We operate a representative democracy. The disquiet over immigration, obliges the new government to give due reverence to this. Not to terminate our membership but to work with the EU to restructure the Union to create innovative deals, which critically must involve us regaining border control.
The result of the EU Referendum, widely recognized to have been compromised by misinformation, should be considered accordingly.
There are now new opportunities to renegotiate our relationship with the EU, to improve democratic processes inherent in its operation and to create harmony and understanding across the nations, with much needed transparency.
