What the petition asks

The roads are dangerous enough without deliberately spreading loose granite chippings all over, these chippings can cause accidents and costs to public aswell as injuries. Motorcyclist are extremely at risk due to the reduced contact with the road, why should the motorist flatten the road

Causes crashes and injuries and has severe cost implications to the traveler, often the surface is lucky to last a year without breaking up where the old tar which has been properly laid is still smooth as the day it was done

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
