What the petition asks
In 2011, Liam Fox resigned as Defense Secretary due to Mr Fox stating he had ""mistakenly allowed the distinction between my personal interest and my government activities to become blurred".Once a minister has been seen to break their own code of conduct they should not be re-instated after 5 years
This was due to Mr Fox blurring the lines with his flatmate, bestman, Adam Werrity attending official meetings and posing as his adviser.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
