What the petition asks

Following the Gambling Act of 2005, Fixed Odds Betting Terminals are a feature in bookmakers' shops on our high streets.
Government should give Councils powers to ban them from the high street
FOBTs are called the "crack cocaine" of gambling.
Users can lose hundreds of pounds in only a few minutes and can turn violent when this happens.
FOBTs destroy lives and families.
Government should act to ban them from our high streets.
