What the petition asks
Make it compulsory for those on Job seekers allowance to contribute up to 20 hours per week to their local council for cleaning projects in order to receive the benefit.
This has been trailed in Leeds with those caught urinating by Police being made to work for 2 hours for the council on cleaning projects.
Yorkshire Post newspaper 19 Jul 2016.
Imagine these young people learning how fantastic it is to put something back into the local community, to learn a quality work ethic and actually feel as though they are earning their money.
An excellent incentive for both the young and for the politicians to gain many votes, everyone I have spoken too love the idea!

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
It is not clear whether you want the UK Government to make it compulsory for those who have committed an offense (such as urinating in the street) to have to work for a local council, or for those who claim specific benefits.
