Update Parliamentary procedures so that impeachment is reinstated as a sanction

What the petition asks
During the referendum campaign, MPs Boris Johnson, Andrea Leadsom and others continually made the statement that we, in the UK, ‘send the EU £350 million a week.’ This statement is untrue. They included the UK rebate in this figure. However, the rebate never leaves these shores
Despite being continually told that this statement was untrue, these MPs continued to repeat it. Impeachment was used as a method for holding MPs to account. However, it is claimed by some that it is 'obsolete' and cannot be used as a sanction. Without impeachment there appears to be no way of holding MPs and others to account for this type of behaviour. So let us call on Parliament to update and reinstate impeachment to deter other MPs from this type of egregious behaviour.
