What the petition asks
I originally attempted to start a petition for Tony Blair to be impeached. This was refused and incorrect reasons given for this. Impeachment was merely 'considered' obsolete but still remains in statute. The briefing paper to consider the offence obsolete was published 6th June 2016. Convenient?

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Criminal investigations are a matter for the police. Decisions about investigations must be taken independently of the Government or Parliament.
