Stop the closure of the ward at the Glasgow Centre for Integrative Care

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

As a person with M.E, C.F.S, & Fibromyalgia I find myself lucky to have access to such a ward.
This is an illness with no real treatment or cure, & we need to learn to manage symptoms. Spending time in the ward helps dramatically with this.
In the ward I was surrounded by staff who listened, and who understood the challenges of living with a chronic illness and how it affects everything in your life.
As someone with very little energy, a week in the ward allowed me to access the classes I simply couldn't have come back and forth to the hospital to attend.
People with M.E have very little in terms of specialist help. Taking away the ward would be taking away one of those rare services.
Please, help us keep it.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The health service in Scotland is the responsibility of the Scottish Government.
