What the petition asks
In 2007 the government banned the docking of tails, but allowed some working breeds to continue to be docked, 9yrs down the line and the amount of damaged tails is causing immeasurable suffering Please think carefully and help to end the suffering of these dogs.

Repeal the ban or at the very least allow all breeds classified as Working Group dogs have their tails docked by a vet. Older dogs having tails amputated is not acceptable. The Doberman has been
traditionally docked from its creation, now with tails we have
varying degrees of length carriage and thickness this is causing unnecessary suffering. Allow docking by a vet within 3 days of birth.
