Ban all breeding of 'pets' in the UK.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

The amount of domesticated animals that are currently living in shelters, kennels and rescue centres due to being dumped there by people who no longer want them and the fact that breeding animals for 'pets' is still legal, despite there being so many animals already here without homes is barbaric.
Adopt don't shop, is a message that many people preach in order to find these 'unwanted' animals homes before they're unfairly euthanised. We need to focus on the bigger picture. This will always be an issue unless we stop the cause of it. There is absolutely no need for someone to breed animals, other than profit for themselves. This is not acceptable. These animals in shelters are here because of us. We have made them, now it's our responsibility to stop future animals facing the same fate.
