What the petition asks
In recent years, the population of seagulls has increased to the point where they are more than just a nuisance. Adults and children have been attacked as these scavengers have become the rats by the sea. Food is not safe anywhere outdoors and this is affecting local businesses and residents.
The law needs to be changed or suspended so that people can protect themselves and their property, and the Government must also consider a humane cull of some sort.
