Reintruduce legal aid for families within the family Courts

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Cuts in legal aid are creating chaos in the family Court who warn that the resulting delays are having a serious impact on the children custody of their children now mostly have to represent themselves in court, and this causes lengthy delays in determining the best outcome for the children,
Myself had to go to court to gain access to my daughter without legal aid. This has cost myself a fortune in legal fees. Like many families father's are missing out on seeing there children and this I find is unacceptable, it has a significant impact on our children as both sets of parents should be able to see there sons/daughters. No children in this country should have not go though not spending time with both sets of parents. But people who have committed a criminal offence get legal aid
