Our campaign, aims to expose and end the cruelty within the leather industry.Consumer Rights Reg.from Unfair Trading 2008 /1277, Reg. 6 (consumer right to be protected from unfair trading, where it is likely to cause the consumer to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise).
large portion of the leather available on the world market is exported,under omitted information such as “leather from an animal farmed for meat“. Some cultures, particularly Asian consider dogs and cats as “animals farmed for meat”. Our campaign aims to expose and end the cruelty within the leather industry.Based on existing legislation we therefore require that all retailers and traders include the details of the leather source on the products labels. We demand to know what it is we are buying
