Impose harsher sentences for deaths caused by driving offences

What the petition asks
The justice system needs reviewing currently the sentences for driving offences particularly death caused by dangerous driving, careless driving and reckless driving are way too lenient. It gives no consideration to the emotional life long trauma and devastation to the victims families and friends.
Multiple cases to support the leniency of the criminal justice in relation to driving offences - there are stricter sentences for assault, theft and non payment of council tax. It seems that there is little value placed on human life which is utterly abhorrent.
