What the petition asks

The government tried to bring in universal cuts to personal independence payment at the budget but failed under the gaze of attention but is now being done off grid by the DWP Assessment system claimants face reduced entitlements by simply making it harder to qualify in the appropriate category

Should Society accept that those among us to go without in our name! PIP does what it says personal independence and who are we to allow our politicians to forget about those they claimed to defend when the media attention was on them But are now happy to look the other way! When we see a disabled person down the highstreet remember they are having a good day everyone deserves a good day lets be honest we don't notice the bad days they suffer those alone DO SOMETHING WONDERFUL TODAY SIGN HERE

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Review and Change the Assesment process for PIP & ESA
Open a public inquiry into privately contracted benefit assessments by the DWP
Future DWP (Atos) assessments should be carried out by Healthcare Professionals
End the contracts with Atos, Capita and maximus as they are not fit for purpose.
