Stop Lord Shrewsbury

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

The policing and Crime Bill 2015/16, will set a 1 Joule (330fps) 'Power Limit' at which barreled devices become air rifles.
The government made an exception for airsoft, 1.3J for full auto (370fps) and 2.5J(520fps) for semi-auto/single shot
Lord Shrewsbury, President of the Gun Trade Association
has submitted an Amendment which will delete the airsoft exception and leave UK airsoft limited to 1J(330fps) forever!
If found possessing or importing a full-auto gun capable of more than 1J(330fps) you might face 5 years in prison! (This limit will affect 60,000 UK Airsoft players!)
The vote is on 16th September.
