What the petition asks

NDDH maternity services is facing closure after leaked plans were revealed by north Devon journal. I for one can't stand around waiting for it to happen, not after everything the midwives and other members of staff have done for millions of mummies and daddies. Me included.

The government are planning on closing all maternity facilities at NDDH. They believe they will be saving money, by putting our babies lives at risk?! Are they being serious?! For future parents, they will have to travel an over or so to the next nearest hospital. As a pregnant women you already have a million other worries about pregnancy without the extra worry of wondering if they'll get to hospital on time. 'Extra funding' for home births, so many things can go wrong. The midwives do such amazing jobs, before birth, during, and after. Please, please sign this petition ❤️
