Fair Ticket Trading for Events
Rejected

What the petition asks
Ticket selling sites are able to buy their own tickets as they go on sale, to place them on their own sister site for over twice the price. Thus not allowing the public to fairly purchase tickets to events in general sale.
Tickets for events are selling out instantly, whole arenas becoming sold out within seconds yet straight away resale sites are showing up with hundreds of available tickets for twice the price. For example, Green Day tickets went on sale for between £55 and £73 per ticket on Ticketmaster 9am 09/09/2016 and instantly most tickets were sold. However there was over 150 tickets for each UK show available for £120 and above per ticket on Ticketmaster's sister site, Get Me In.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We think you might want similar action to this petition:
Tighter regulation on the resale of events tickets.
