Re open the petition for pass I.d

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Recognise pass I.D e.g citizen cards as a form of I.D in pubs and clubs
Pass I.Ds are a legal form of I.D for people over 18 that do not have or want or cannot afford a passport or driving license. All shop accept these but pubs and clubs will not, police encourage these forms of I.D as it can be a problem for police when lost or stolen passports get forged and also cost a lot of money to replace.also people with disabilities who cannot get a driver's license then have to buy a passport even if they do not need one just so they can go out for a drink.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Pubs and clubs can choose which forms of ID they accept.

You could start a new petition asking Parliament to create a new law requiring pubs and clubs to accept all forms of ID in their venues.
