Bring back a bus service to rural areas

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Bus services are getting made very rare if not abolished in rural areas preventing the young, elderly and disabled from being able to get out and about. We want the services brought back!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government and Parliament aren't directly responsible for local bus services. If you are concerned about bus services in your local area, you could raise this with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them:

https://www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors

You could start a new petition asking the Government to provide more funding to local councils to fund bus services in rural areas.
