The Great British Bake off should remain a BBC programme.

What the petition asks
The Great British Bake Off belongs on the BBC and as such should not be allowed to let it go to an alternative chanel where the format, presenters and show are ruined. The Bake off needs to stay a BBC programme with Paul, Mary, Mel and Sue remaining.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
