What the petition asks
We want to put a stop to child professionals and published childcare books giving advice to parents that "The cry it out" method should be used in order to help your children sleep. It is advised that children are left crying, sometimes to the point where the child is sick, we want to stop this!
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for parenting advice given by private individuals.
