Petition · past parliament
licensed Amateur radio operators should be granted antenna planning permission
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
as well as the existing operators so many people out there are taking the amateur radio exam and getting licensed by Off-com but are badly restricted by the local planning departments when it comes to erecting an antenna so cannot use what they have worked hard to achieve
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Your local planning department is responsible for the acceptance or rejection of planning proposals, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you want the UK Government or Parliament to take action, you could start a new petition asking for the law or policy framework to be changed, so that amateur radio operators who wish to erect antennae do not have to go through local planning procedures.
