What the petition asks
The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch is slowly being downgraded by the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Why?
The people of Redditch, Studley and Bromsgrove are affected because:
The public transport links from Redditch to Worcester are poor.
Maternity and Paedeatrics have already closed at Redditch.
The consultants are leaving the Alexandra Hospital, so more wards are closing.
The parking at Worcester Royal Hospital is inadequate.
Worcester Royal Hospital cannot cope with more patients.
The government should launch an investigation into the Trusts finances and its actions to remove services from Redditch Alexandra in favour of Worcester Royal.
