What the petition asks
Roads are built through the natural habitats of lots of Britain's wildlife. More roadkill is being seen everyday and little is being done to prevent animals wandering into the roads.
Animals involved in road traffic accidents end up with a horrific injury or often dying on or nearby the road. Animals being struck on the roads also cause a risk to human life and safety and also costly damage to vehicles.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
