What the petition asks
In order to restore public faith in the Democratic process, the public should be given the option to affirm its faith in the current government or to overturn it in a General Election.
Theresa May demanded the Same action when Gordon Brown took power in 2007.
The Fixed Term Parliament Act 2011 has provisions so that under certain circumstances a snap General Election may be held.
The Government has already Ignored numerous Petitions this year including the Largest Petition in British Political history.
The Leadership Crises that plagued almost all the Major Political Parties in Parliament should allow the British Public to have their say once again in a General Election.
