What the petition asks
Thousands of honest, dedicated young people have been denied recruitment to the Army simply for being diagnosed Asthmatic. Many young people who are physically fit and mentally capable are still being unfairly refused enrolment for receiving preventative treatment which keeps Asthma symptoms at bay
Asthma is a life long condition that in many cases can be controlled/managed to the point where the sufferers symptoms have no effect on their daily life and activities. Thousands of young people are being unfairly denied the chance to defend their country and build themselves a solid and secure future simply because they receive preventative medication which keeps their Asthma symptoms at bay. This is unfair and outdated!
