What the petition asks
Im 23 years old, my grandfather was sent to christmas island when the nuclear tests started happening in 1956. when the tests happened the wind blow the radiation the wrong way and it blow over the veterans. Not only did it effect the veterans it is still effecting the generations after.
There are many different medical problems that have been recorded, musculoskeletal disorders, heart issues, hands and feet deformities and may more issues. We are trying to get this recognised through the NHS and the whole country/world so people who are linked maybe be able to get the answers and help that they need.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to help the families of people affected by nuclear testing.
